My
name is Roberto Sila.
I began my activity at Vallelunga in 1977 (with a Honda 400 Four)
in the Italian Championship.
I ran in different categories until 1984, when I had the
opportunity to ride a Kawasaki Bimota 1000.
I raced for the first time at Misano Adriatico and placed fourth.
In 1985 I had the opportunity to buy a Suzuki 750 F1, with which
I participated at the Italian Championship. The following years
I participated at different Championships, always having great
fun, until 1993.
Once I had finished racing, I dedicated myself to a 600 class
team in a European Championship.
In the 1999-2000 season I worked for Bertocchi Team in
Superbike.

Racing Sport Association officially began its activity in 2000,
after having organized some free trials in different Italian
circuits.
